FAQs

Why is gas bad ?

Natural gas is a fossil fuel, like coal or oil, and its use harms the planet. Fracking, a common method to extract gas, poses risks to our environment, water, and farmland. Burning gas contributes to climate change and global heating, with devastating effects on our planet. It's incompatible with commitments under the Paris Agreement, our best chance to avoid climate disaster.

Why is electricity better?

Electricity is the future. It's efficient and flexible, meeting all our required energy needs sustainably. Unlike gas, it can come from renewable resources and our energy system is quickly shifting towards full sustainability. You can even generate it yourself from your own rooftop, giving you access to the cheapest energy source, the sun!

Will electric appliances save money?

Yes, electric appliances can save you money in the long run. While there is an initial cost to convert to all-electric, efficient appliances, this investment will pay off over time. Additionally, you'll be helping the environment and improving the health of your home. We can also help you access rebates and incentives to make the switch even more affordable.

Can you do other work while you’re at my place?

Our main focus is removing your existing gas appliances. However, our awesome contractors are always happy to discuss additional works, which can be arranged and organised directly through them.

Can i upgrade single items at at time?

Absolutely. We understand that electrifying your home is a process and investment. Even if you say goodbye to 1 appliance, it’s 1 less gas appliance in the world and that is a good thing. Progress over Perfection.

Can I choose my own appliances?

Can I bring my own appliances?

Yes, you can choose your own appliances. We have accounts with most major retailers and have access to a huge range of manufacturers.
During the consultation, let us know if there are specific brands you prefer. We are more than happy to supply those for you.

No. We supply all the appliances we install. This keeps us accountable for the whole installation & process. In the unlikely event of a faulty product, we would organise a service call or the full replacement for you, rather than charging you to uninstall a faulty product.
